The ERC goes trauma… April 16, 2007

A new project is coming up at the ERC: The European Trauma Course (ETC) which is a new project of the new founded European Trauma Working Group. „The European Trauma Working Group is a group of internationally recognised experts coming from all specialties involved in trauma care. The Working Group was founded under the umbrella of the European Resuscitation Council“ (posted on the ERC homepage).
The ETC is planned as a two and a half days hands-on course for doctors with the aim to improve trauma skills. After the course the candidate should be able to manage trauma scenario of different complexity. Anyhow this course, which is the second one taking place, must be regarded as a pilot course. But I´ll keep you informed!
